Some thoughts and upcoming events

First and foremost, we hope that everyone is safe and sound. The flood was a tragic event that affected our families, friends and neighbors. This was the reason why Monday's meeting was canceled and rescheduled for the following week.

There's a lot of work to do...but as has been the case in the past, our county's people will pull together to see us through these times--it's one of our strengths.

Second, as for the rescheduled meeting, it will be held on Tuesday, September 20th, at 5pm at the Swoyersville American Legion. It is on Shoemaker Street in Swoyersville. We will be serving light refreshments. All are invited.
