Endorsements

Many political candidates list the endorsements they may have received. I think they're important as they can represent something...or some ideal...you believe in, and those who believe in you.

I have been fortunate to receive 3 endorsements and 1 recommendation that do represent important ideals to me. The 3 endorsements are from the Luzerne County Police Chiefs Association, the Wyoming Valley Fraternal Order of Police and the Hazleton Fraternal Order of Police. These 3 groups represent colleagues that I work with on a daily basis to help preserve the peace. As a judicial candidate, this takes on a personal and professional connotation.

The recommendation is from the PSEA-PACE (the PSEA-PACE recommends and does not endorse candidates). This recommendation is also important to me. Education is a potent force that serves the community and could be used by the judiciary as a proactive tool to educate and subsequently deter an individual from committing a crime. Education could also help eradicate the victimization of children.
